Baltic Sea Labour Network holds its final conference

On 15-16th November 2011 in Hamburg, Germany the Baltic Sea labour Network project held its final conference. 

Gathering more than 240 participants, the conference discussed possibilities of developing a stronger labour market in the Baltic Sea Region. The most important outcome of the conference was the establishment of the permanent tripartite Forum of Social Dialogue in the Baltic Sea Region – the Baltic Sea Labour Forum that will ensure the sustainability of the project and facilitate greater participation stakeholder after project completion. The forum will begin its work in January 2012 during the German Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS). 

Implemented within the Baltic Sea Region Programme, the Baltic Sea Labour Network (BSLN) is a transnational cooperation project of 22 partners and associated partners from 9 countries which aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the challenges facing labour markets in the Baltic Sea Region.
