CASYPOT project kicks-off in Emmaboda

The Regional Council in Kalmar and all project partners would like to invite relevant stakeholders with the ERB and beyond for the kick-off conference of the CaSYPoT project which will be held in Emmaboda, Sweden on 20-21st September 2016.

The CaSYPoT (Capacity building for Strategic Youth Policy and Transnational cooperation) has been developed by the stakeholders of ERB cooperation in order to strengthen the influence of young people on the functioning of their local and regional communities, allowing them to have a greater say on how certain policies are developed and implemented. Employing the Swedish LUPP methodology on the cross-border level, the partners are aiming at creating a new framework of consultations and engagement of young people in all regions of the South Baltic area. The project has been officially supported by the ERB Executive Board and the ERB Youth Board, which consider it an important step in creating knowledge-based development strategies in the Baltic Sea Region.
