Six Baltic organisations: BSSSC - Baltic Sea States Subregional Cooperation, B7 Baltic Islands Network, Euroregion Baltic, Baltic Development Forum, Baltic Sea Commission of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions and Union of the Baltic Cities have finalised their joint position paper, including a governance proposal and list of flagship projects. On 1st December 2008 the documents were submitted to Commissioner Danuta Hübner, who welcomed the contribution and thanked for the comprehensive work, which she said would serve as inspiration in the future work!

As a result of the process initiated in June and involving all stakeholders of the ERB cooperation, the ERB Council passed the resolution containing its contribution towards the consultation on the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. Please read here.
