Växjö is second fastest growing city in Sweden

According to new figures presented by the Statistics Sweden (SCB) agency, Växjö is currently the second Swedish city after Stockholm that has grown most over the past five years with an increase in the number of inhabitants at around 9,5 percent since 2005.

Moreover, the Western Swedish Chamber of Commerce reports that Växjö has recently become the fourth strongest region of growth in Sweden. This unprecedented development has been possilbe thanks to good entrepreneurial climate, development of the Linnaeus University and consensus among all political parties on strategic development issues.
