European Cooperation Day

On 21st September 2013 and surrounding days, the European citizens will celebrate cooperation over the borders. The kick-off event of the European Cooperation Day, held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 10th September 2013 discussed achievements of European Territorial Cooperation (ETC). Members of the European Parliament and experts discussed how ETC has improved the lives of Europeans. EU Commissioner for Regional Policy, Johannes Hahn, sent a video message highlighting the added value of territorial cooperation (see here)
