Foucs on the Baltic Sea

The latest edition of the Baltic Master II project newsletter brings information about the recent developments and results achieved by the project so far.

Among them was a presentation of results of anti-pollution research conducted jointly by the Maritime Institute in Bremen and the Maritime University of Szczecin. Also, the ports involved in the joint EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Strategy falgship project produced their final report on waste handling including oil spills. The project also took further action towards finalising its Political Vision for the Future, which will be adopted during the Final Conference on 26-27th October 2011.

The Baltic Master II project currently being implemented in the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013, is a flagship project in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea region that brings together countries from around the whole Baltic Rim.
