Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme approves 35 projects

At its meeting in Malmö on 18-19 November 2015 the Monitoring Committee of Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 selected 35 project applications that will be provided funding for its activities over the next three years.

Altogether, EUR 90 million out of EUR 264 million from the European Regional Development Fund were now allocated to these projects. Authorities from local, regional and national levels, research and training institutions, sectoral agencies and associations, NGOs and enterprises from around the Baltic Sea will work together for three years striving to make the Baltic Sea Region more innovative, more sustainable and better connected.
