New funding opportunities for youth cooperation

Based on the results of the Info Info Day on EU Funding for Youth Organisations held in Brussels on 13‐14th November 2014, the European Youth Forum and its Working Group on Funding drafted a guide on all potential funding opportunities for youth cooperation in the new EU programming period 2014-2020.

Entitled ‘MONEY. Millions of Opportunities Non Explored by You(th) in EU Programmes‘, the guide provides comprehensive information on funding available to youth organisations in the wider EU funding environments, taking into account both indirect and direct sources of funding. Although Erasmus+ still remains the main financial tool for youth organisations, still it is important to explore other potential funding sources in order implement different activities and provide relevant experience to young people.

The guide focuses on the most important EU programmes in which youth organisations could participate as potential partners or lead beneficiaries. While providing essential information on many EU programmes, it also focuses on practical questions such as types of actions eligible for funding, types and levels of funding, eligibility of applicants and application procedures. Where possible is also serves as a potential source of inspiration by giving examples of what has been funded under previous programmes.
