Second call for proposals in the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme attracted as many as 212 project concept notes covering all ll themes of the Programme priorities “innovation” (98 concept notes), “natural resources” (67) and “sustainable transport” (47). The majority of the concept notes were submitted by project lead applicants from Finland (60), Germany (41), Estonia (26) and Poland (25). Project applicants represent all Programme countries.
The concept notes will be evaluated for further consideration by autumn 2016. The final decision on the approval of project proposals is expected early next year.
