The EUSBSR newsletter November 2014 issue focuses on governance issues, future Action Plan, Horizontal Action ‘Sustainable’ among other things. For the first time, this publication is 16 pages long aiming to better analyse and inform about each of the topics addressed. The newsletter is available in the EUSBSR website in both flipping book and pdf formats.
Also, a photo gallery for the EUSBSR has just been created on Flickr. It includes pictures from many different meetings and events as well as generic pictures taken in the Baltic Sea region. This tool aims to help EUSBSR stakeholders in their communication activities. The photos currently displayed in the online photo sharing platform have been provided by the INTERACT Programme and other EUSBSR stakeholders.

The European Economic and Social Committee at its 492nd plenary session, held on 18 and 19 September 2013, adopted the opinion on enhancing civil society partnerships to deliver the Baltic Sea Region Strategy, available here in all language versions.
The EUSBSR newsletter March 2013 issue is out. The content includes, among other articles, the reviewed EUSBSR Action Plan, the joint meeting on Partnership Agreements and EUSBSR and two success stories from Priority Area on Maritime Safety and Security.
Six pan-Baltic organisations: Baltic Development Forum, Baltic Sea States Subregional Cooperation, CPMR Baltic Sea Commission, Baltic 7 Islands, Euroregion Baltic and Union of the Baltic Cities, have jointly adopted the position paper on the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. The paper addresses among others some key issues related to the coordination of the Strategy, multi-level governance, relation ot the EU policies and regional development plans, involvement of thiord countries and private sector. The Commission released the new communication on the EUSBSR on Friday 23 March 2012. The transition of the Strategy's four pillars into the three objectives has thus been officially communicated. See the text of the communication here.
A new website has been officially launched on the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region by Colin Wolfe, Head of Unit of DG Regio at the opening of the 3rd Working Meeting of the EUSBSR in Vilnius on 21st March 2012. Check out here.
