EESC opinion on civil society in the EUSBSR

The European Economic and Social Committee at its 492nd plenary session, held on 18 and 19 September 2013, adopted the opinion on enhancing civil society partnerships to deliver the Baltic Sea Region Strategy, available here in all language versions.

Joint paper on EUSBSR

Six pan-Baltic organisations: Baltic Development Forum, Baltic Sea States Subregional Cooperation, CPMR Baltic Sea Commission, Baltic 7 Islands, Euroregion Baltic and Union of the Baltic Cities, have jointly adopted the position paper on the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. The paper addresses among others some key issues related to the coordination of the Strategy, multi-level governance, relation ot the EU policies and regional development plans, involvement of thiord countries and private sector. EUSBSR Newsletter March 2012

In the March edition of the EUSBSR newsletter you will find information among other on the uppcoming communication from the European Commission, 3rd Annual Forum of the Strategy, targets and indicators designed at priority and horizontal action level, meeting on joint Russia-EU projects in the Baltic Sea Region, 3rd working meeting on the alignment of funding for the EUSBSR in Vilnius on 21-22 March, and a new communication initiative in the framework of the Strategy developed in collaboration between INTERACT Point Turku, the European Commission and Member States concerned.
